FAQs

Having a coach takes the thinking out of running, so all you have to do is lace up your shoes and hit the pavement, trail, or track. A coach can offer insight into how to progress your training, bolster your self-confidence and belief, and challenge you to push your limits without doing too much too soon.

My coaching philosophy is to meet my athletes where they are and to guide their growth in fitness and confidence from there. I work with individuals who are interested in exploring what’s possible for them, whether they’re seasoned runners or those who are new to the sport.

I believe that running offers so many benefits to our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, and am eager to work with those who are looking to explore these benefits for themselves and see where it takes them.
Though time-goals can be great motivators, I am more focused on developing runners to enjoy the sport, as well as experience longevity within it. If you’re in a rush to achieve a specific time goal, we might not be a natural fit. I believe running is a journey, not a chase.

I coach: to give back to the sport, to shine light on others’ potential, to be a cheerleader amongst the voices of doubt, to witness the joy of someone achieving something they worked hard for, to help facilitate growth and discovery in others, and because I believe that guiding others to see what’s already inside—is my gift.
