No worries, you don’t need athletic wear to perform yoga (asana). It is best to wear comfortable clothing that is both supportive and flexible, allowing for full range of motion. Please try not to wear clothing that is revealing or contains suggestive language.

Prenatal yoga is a form of yoga (asana) that is tailored to meet the needs of women who are experiencing pregnancy. It is a supportive practice that uses props to create space for Baby in traditional postures and is infused with pose sequencing and breath work to build strength and coping skills for labor. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, prenatal yoga allows you to explore movement in community with other women navigating pregnancy.

Injury doesn’t necessarily mean you have to give your yoga (asana) practice a rest. With medical clearance to practice yoga, you may notify your yoga instructor of your injuries and conditions and she may be able to suggest modifications to make your practice more accessible and/or poses to avoid to prevent worsening the injury.
*Please note that any suggestions offered by a yoga instructor do not constitute as/or take the place of medical advice. Each practitioner remains responsible for listening to their own body and moving within their personal limitations.
